Basketball Frequently Asked Questions
IntelliGym™ Training Schedule
Technical support – software questions
The Basketball IntelliGym™ is a training tool that enables basketball players to dramatically improve their game-intelligence skills. The trainer directly stimulates the brain functions that are responsible for basketball's cognitive skills. By doing so, the IntelliGym™ trainer enables super-quick development of proficiencies that, until now, were considered impossible to teach
The IntelliGym™ was first introduced to the American market two years ago. In its second year, 17 teams from the NCAA division I chose to use it. The results? Before using the Basketball IntelliGym™, 4 of those teams made it to NCAA tournament...
After using the Basketball IntelliGym™, 11 of the same programs made it to the NCAA's "Big Dance"!
Moreover, 5 of those won their conference. And Florida, made it all the way, as if to prove Jim Calhoun's right, when two years ago he predicted:
"All other factors being equal, the coach whose players used the IntelliGym™ will be the one cutting off the nets. In 5 years everyone will be using Basketball IntelliGym™."
Every serious basketball player. The IntelliGym™ can improve every basketball player who trains with it. However we recommend that players start training with the IntelliGym only after the age of 12. Younger players will find it very hard to keep up with the demands of the trainer.
No, the training system provides the trainee with all the required information and feedback.
Yes it can. Coaches can improve their skills and also will be able to see the court better, and make the right decisions on the lines. Moreover, as the leaders of the next generation, coaches can introduce the IntelliGym™ to their players, and gain better players and better teams.
Yes. If you buy the Basketball IntelliGymTM Personal Edition, you will be entitled to upgrade it to the GOLD Edition in the future by sending a request email to ACE and receiving a payment request in return email. The price for such an upgrade will be the difference between the products (based on the type of license and number of users).
The plan (license) is the right to use the product for a full year. First results are usually shown on the court after some 8 weeks of training, while a full year of training shows significant improvement in all aspects of the game. Serious players who then decide to go with a second year of training to maintain the level they've achieved and further improve it, will then go with the ‘renewal’ option for the second year.
We are confident that, if used correctly, The Basketball IntelliGym™ will improve your game level dramatically. Therefore we guarantee a full refund of the entire price of the product in case you are not satisfied with the results - for a period of 60 days.
One of the strengths of The Basketball IntelliGym™ is that it constantly follows your performance and customize to your personal needs. By letting friends use your own account you might lose twice since the system will only partially be customized to you. First, your improvement will be less than optimal, and second, your friends will not benefit from the system as they may have gained had they been using their own account. Therefore our recommendation is for each player to stick to his or her own account.
Cognitive Engineering – is a science that deals with analysis, modeling, designing and evaluating of complex human systems executed in real time. Cognitive engineering researchers have found that brain skills, when properly trained, can be improved exactly like muscles. Hence ACE has developed the first Brain Gym designed to improve those "muscles" in the Brains of Basketball players.
The best way to measure your improvement on the court is to have a look at the change in your stats. You will notice more points, a better shooting percentage, more assists, fewer turnovers, more rebounds and all together more compliments from your coach and scouts on your improvement.
The Basketball IntelliGym™ is designated for players as young as Junior and High School students who want to make it to Varsity teams or to College. A younger player can use the IntelliGym™ but will need to have some kind of help from an adult in understanding the instructions and in following the training regimen.
No it can't, although feelings of mental fatigue right after a training session is expected, exactly like the feeling after a workout. A short rest after training will help.
IntelliGym™ Training Schedule
The IntelliGym™ training schedule is very similar to that of a weight room. After a session you need to give your brain the time to recuperate, hence we do not recommend training with the IntelliGym™ more than once a day. We recommend at least 24 hours between meetings.
Our cognitive coaches suggest at least 24 hours between sessions, and recommend that a player has 48 hours between meetings for optimal improvement. Hence three sessions per week are optimal for maximum benefit from the IntelliGym™.
Basically every hour of the day is good for the IntelliGym™.
IntelliGym™ Game Questions
You may click F1 by the end of each round to see the entire keyboard layout and keys functionality.
