BRUSSELS, Belgium – The European Commission, within its Horizon 2020 research and development program, has announced ACE (Applied Cognitive Engineering), as a winner of the prestigious SME grant. LUCERNE, Switzerland – Congratulations! The U18 US men’s national team won the GOLD medal in the IIHF World Championship with a 2-1 win over Finland on Sunday. All players on the U18 National Team, including Auston Matthews, the competition MVP, are IntelliGym trainees. Interestingly, this is sixth world championship title won by the USA since the IntelliGym program has been implemented with the team.
STOCKHOLM, Sweden – The US men’s national team won the bronze medal in the IIHF World Championship with a 3-2 shootout win over Finland on Sunday. The three youngest players on USA Men’s National Team are IntelliGym graduates: Goaltender John Gibson, defenseman Jacob Trouba, and defenseman Justin Faulk. Gibson was one of the game heroes with 36 saves propelling Team USA to its first medal since 2004. Trouba added an assist in the first period.
SOCHI, Russia - Despite a 35-12 shots-on-goal advantage, the U.S. Men's National Under-18 Team fell to Canada by a 3-2 count on Apr. 28 at the Bolshoy Ice Dome in the gold-medal game at the 2013 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship. The team was the first to adopt the Hockey IntelliGym as part of its training regimen five years ago. Since then they have participated in every final match of the Championship, winning 4 gold medals, and one silver.
